Through playing sports, there are life lessons participants learn about perseverance, leadership, working with people, and taking action. NLS® is a culmination of several experiences and lessons learned throughout the years rolled into a holistic winning program.

NLS History
Before NLS® became NLS® we were Next Level Flag Football in the Fall of 2006. Kyle Helton founded the concept of NLS® and quickly realized that if it were to work, he’d need a lot of help. With the help of childhood friends like Arnold Haynes, Kevin Mobley, Jerome Reynolds, Chris Long and a host of others, they collectively revived experiences from their youth and adopted them into NLS.
Planning for NL Flag began around a kitchen table and going in after 1st season, there were 63 participants who took a chance with NL Flag and became raving fans. Within 2 years NL Flag adopted basketball program from Rosemont Villanova Basketball Assoc., created additional programs such as Track n Field, Sport Clinics, and Youth Referee program. And the original number of 63 participants expanded to an organization providing services to approximately 1000 youth participants per year! To current day, NLS® remains committed to making a difference and inspiring our youth to Shatter The Expectation.
